Marketing authorisation for raw milk in small quantities for final consumer or retail sale

Process description

1. Service requests
   In order to receive a permit for the marketing of milk, the milk producer shall submit to the Service a submission specifying:
   
   1) the given name and surname of the owner of the holding,
   2) the name, address and registration number of the holding,
   3) the registration number of the herd.
   
   The application shall be accompanied by the results of the laboratory testing which certify that the milk complies with the microbiological and quality criteria.
   
   An application may also be submitted by e-mail, signed with an e-signature.
   
   It may also be submitted via an e-address of the institution.
   
   The necessary checks for the receipt of a permit shall be carried out for a fee, in accordance with the schedule of charges.

2. Service Processing
   The Service shall examine it within 10 working days after receipt of the submission, evaluate the risk in accordance with the regulatory enactments regarding animal health, welfare, the circulation of animal feed and food circulation, food hygiene and safety, as well as the circulation of animal by-products, which are not intended for human consumption, and, if necessary, inspect the holding and take a sample of milk in order to ascertain regarding compliance of milk with microbiological and quality criteria.
   
   If the milk producer complies with the requirements specified in these Regulations, the Service shall issue a milk marketing permit within a working day and shall include the milk producer in the database of supervisory facilities of the Service

3. Receipt of services
   Receipt of services according to the application of choice.
