Data on the sales volume (VoS) and the avaibality status of VMPs in the Union Product Database (UPD)

Pursuant to Article 58 of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 on veterinary medicinal products and repealing Directive 2001/82/EC (Regulation 2029/6), all marketing authorisation holders (MAHs) should submit the following to the Union Product Database (UPD):

1. the data on the annual volume of sales (VoS) for each veterinary medical product (VMP);
2. the information on the availability status for VMP in each relevant Member State (MS).

The deadline for submitting 2024 data on the VoS is the end of February 2025. This deadline will apply to all years to come. In other words, 2025 data will have to be submitted by the end of February 2026, 2026 data by the end of February 2027, etc.

MAHs are obliged to submit the data on the availability status for VMP in each relevant RMS in the UPD and keep it always up-to-date.
