Fresh fruit and vegetables subject to the conformity assessment of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as mushrooms and nuts, intended for fresh consumption and processing, imported from third countries, are subject to border controls.

Process description

  1. Service requests
    The operator or his authorised person shall complete part VSID-AP I of the TRACES NT Single Sanitary Entry Document for Plants, Plant Products in order to notify the border inspection post of the arrival of such consignments in advance.

    The consignment shall be presented for control at the border inspection post and the operator or his authorised person shall present the accompanying documents of the consignment:

    - documents accompanying the consignment;
    - a quality certificate (from countries recognised by the European Union).

    The service charge is specified in the price list.

  2. Receipt of services
    Receipt of services on the spot.
