Inspectors of the National Food Agency of Georgia, farmers and businessmen participated in training on hygiene requirements of primary milk production, biosecurity measures, their implementation and control.
The training took place in the Shidakartli regional administration. The training was provided by the experts of the Food and Veterinary Service of Latvia.
FVS’s experience is important to improve primary production in Georgia, to ensure the control planning and implementation process in according to European Union standards.
The training took place within the framework of the EU-funded Twinning project "Ensuring further SPS and food safety system development in Georgia".
