Veterinary inspectors of the National Food Agency of Georgia participated in the simulation of an infectious animal disease - African swine fever.
Theoretical and practical training took place in Tbilisi and Kutaisi regions.
The training included the simulation of an outbreak of the disease, the analysis of the actions of inspectors in combating the outbreak, as well as the analysis of the cooperation of different services during the outbreak.
The training was provided by the experts of the Food and Veterinary Service of Latvia.
The training took place within the framework of the EU-funded Twinning project "Ensuring further SPS and food safety system development in Georgia".
